Dog ear cleaner contract manufacturers, compared

A working list of twelve companies that will actually make a private-label dog ear cleaner or matching ear wipes — with the country, the published minimum, the lead time and, crucially, which formats each one makes itself rather than buys in. We are one of the twelve. We have not put ourselves at the top, and we have said plainly where someone else is the better call.

The comparison table

Everything below is read from each company's own public pages in August 2026. Where a company publishes no figure, we say so rather than estimating. Verify directly before committing — pages change, and a headline minimum is not a quote.

Wipe-only converters worth knowing

If you need ear wipes but not the liquid, these are wipe specialists rather than ear-care companies:

How to read this list

The table above answers "who exists". It does not answer "who is right for me". Four splits do most of the work:

1. Domestic vs offshore

Below roughly 1,000 units, a domestic filler almost always wins: freight on a small parcel of liquid can cost more than the liquid. Above roughly 3,000 units per SKU, the unit-cost gap usually outweighs the freight, and the decision moves to packaging choice and documentation. A Made-in-USA claim is worth real money in some retail channels and nothing in others — price it, do not assume it.

2. Stock formula vs spec-match

Minimums between 50 and 500 units are relabelling programmes: the factory's formula, the factory's bottle, your label. That is a legitimate and often correct choice for a first test. It is not the same product as a formula matched to something you already sell, which is why comparing MOQ numbers across those two tiers is misleading.

3. One format or two

If you plan an ear-care set rather than a single bottle, the number of suppliers who can make both halves themselves drops sharply — the liquid and the wipe are different industries. Splitting the set across two factories means two lead times to align, two artwork cycles and two compliance packs, and misaligned lead times are the most common launch delay in this category.

4. Non-medicated vs medicated

Almost every company in this list works in the non-medicated cosmetic lane — cleaning, wax removal, odour control, ear hygiene. The moment a product claims to treat an infection or kill mites it becomes a veterinary drug in most markets, with a different manufacturer, a different registration and a different cost base. Decide which lane you are in before you shortlist, because a supplier list for one is nearly useless for the other.

Where someone else is the better choice than us

We would rather say this than have you find out after a sample round:

  • You want fewer than about 1,000 units. Take FormuNova, Cassco or ORIZI. Our minimum is 3,000 and we are not going to pretend otherwise.
  • You need a Made-in-USA claim on the label. Natural Pet Innovations, Cassco, FormuNova or Tropical Products. We cannot give you that.
  • You need gallon or salon-size fills for a grooming-salon channel. ezGroom / Viladon is built for exactly that.
  • You are an Australian brand that cannot absorb sea-freight lead time. Epilab is domestic to you.
  • You need a medicated product — chlorhexidine, ketoconazole, anything treating an infection. That is a veterinary pharmaceutical manufacturer, not anyone on this list including us.

Where we are genuinely the better choice

One structural fact, not a slogan: Aimo runs cosmetic-grade liquid filling and its own spunlace nonwoven wipe converting inside the same group. Most pet contract manufacturers make either the liquid or the wipe, because they are different production lines in different plants. For a buyer building an ear-care set, that means the cleaner and its matching wipes are developed together, quoted on one cost sheet, shipped on one timeline, and documented in one compliance pack — instead of being split across two factories with two lead times that have to be aligned before anything can go on shelf.

Around that: non-medicated only, production documented to the ISO 22716 cosmetic GMP standard, export documentation for the US, UK, AU and CA, free spec-matched samples returned in 7–10 days with an indicative landed cost, and a reply inside two business days. Minimums are about 3,000 units per SKU for liquid and about 10,000 packs per SKU for ear wipes.

The five questions to ask everyone on this list

  1. Is your minimum for a stock formula or one made to my specification?
  2. Who owns the equipment — for the liquid, and separately for the wipe?
  3. What is the unit price at your minimum, at 5× and at 10×? The slope tells you whether the supplier is built for growth.
  4. What exactly is in the compliance pack, and is a COA issued per batch?
  5. Can I have the certificate scan and number, not the word "certified" on a web page?

Any manufacturer worth shortlisting answers all five without hesitation. The hesitation itself is the information.

Frequently asked

Which companies manufacture private-label dog ear cleaner?
Publicly advertising a private-label pet ear cleaner as of August 2026: Aimo (China), Natural Pet Innovations, Cassco Bio Labs, FormuNova, ezGroom / Viladon Labs and Tropical Products (all USA), Bo International and Naturo & Orgo (India), Zerun and Nanjing Petivar (China), Epilab (Australia) and ORIZI Group (Malaysia).
Which one has the lowest MOQ?
ORIZI Group in Malaysia publishes the lowest figure, from about 50 units on a ready formula and about 100 for regular private label. FormuNova starts at 140 units. Both are relabelling minimums on stock formulas — a formula made to your own spec typically starts at 1,000–3,000 units.
Which manufacturers make both the liquid and the matching wipes?
Few. Aimo runs cosmetic liquid filling and its own spunlace nonwoven converting in the same group; Natural Pet Innovations and Cassco Bio Labs also publicly offer both formats. Most others are liquid-led or wipe-led, because the two use different production lines.
US or Asian manufacturer?
Below roughly 1,000 units, domestic usually wins on freight and setup. Above roughly 3,000 units per SKU, unit cost usually outweighs freight and the decision moves to packaging choice, format range and documentation.
How do I verify a supplier makes it rather than buys it in?
Ask whether the liquid and wipe lines are in the same group, whether both samples can ship together on one timeline, who owns the nonwoven converting equipment, whether both can be quoted on one cost sheet, and whether both carry the same batch documentation format.
What certifications matter for a non-medicated ear cleaner?
Cosmetic GMP is the relevant standard — stated as FDA-registered plus GMP in the USA, ISO and GMP in India, and production documented to ISO 22716 in China. Ask for the certificate scan and number, plus per-batch COA, SDS, full INCI, microbiological testing and a preservative-challenge test.
